Our courier delivers door-to-door all over South Africa at a cost of R150 per parcel (OVN: 2 – 3 Business Days) or R100 per parcel (ECO: 3 – 7 Business Days).  If your order is over R1000, we will ship your parcel to you for free. Please allow 2 – 5 working days for shipping. Once your order is packed and dispatched, you will receive your tracking number via email or Whatsapp.

Please ensure that you provide us with a physical address for delivery. Unfortunately, our couriers cannot deliver to P.O Boxes.


If you find yourself unsatisfied or unhappy with your online purchase, please contact us within 2 weeks from the date of purchase, and we will happily exchange it for you for store credit of the same value, subject to the terms stipulated below:

  • We do not accept returns after the two-week grace period. 
  • We will not accept items that show signs of wear and tear, marks, scratches or have any kind of damage. 
  • We do not accept returns without a proof of purchase. 
  • Please return the item in its original packaging, and make sure it is properly packed and protected.
  • The amount to be exchanged will only be the value of the product and will not include shipping costs. 
  • You will be responsible to pay for shipping when returning an item.
  • We recommend using a trusted courier service, since we cannot be held responsible if items are lost in the post.

As soon as we have received your return, and proper inspection has been done, we will send you an email to notify you whether your return has been accepted for store credit. Your store credit will be in the form of a gift voucher, which can be used on our online shop.

Please note!

  • We do not accept returns on earrings, due to hygienic reasons.
  • We do not accept returns on custom made jewellery.
  • We do not accept returns on sale items.
  • We cannot be held liable for broken chains. Since chains are very delicate, they must be handled with care by the wearer. 
  • We cannot be held liable if gold plating on an item tarnishes over time. Various factors such as an individual’s skin acidity, moisturizers, perfumes, and make-up can cause a gold-plated item to tarnish. We do however offer re-plating of items at the client’s own cost.

Custom made pieces

At CJD we design and manufacture our jewellery to be practical and durable. However, it sometimes may happen that a small stone falls out. If this happens within 3 months after you have received your custom-made piece, we will fix it free of charge. After 3 months, it will be at your own cost.

Jewellery bought online/in-store

Although our jewellery at CJD are of the highest quality, they are still delicate and can break occasionally. Therefore, one should take care when wearing them.  In the case where a CJD items breaks within 3 months of purchase due to a manufacturing fault, we will happily repair your item for free. Unfortunately, after 3 months, repairs will be at your own cost.

Please note! We cannot be held liable for broken chains. Since chains are very delicate, they must be handled carefully by the wearer. 

Costs to repair chains:

  • Sterling silver: R140 for the first solder, and then R70 per solder thereafter. 
  • 9ct gold: R255 for the first solder, and then R100 per solder thereafter.
